​What We Do

We breed pet Ducks and Geese with a focus on preservation of threatened breeds, as well as plumage coloring. Our birds are happy, healthy and beautiful. A handful of the breeds we raise are Bantam Ducks- which means they are miniature. Others include new colors of standard sized Ducks and also rare or conservationally threatened Waterfowl.

​Why Raise Ducks?

Aside from the obvious aesthetic reasons- there are many practical ones. Pest control is an area in which they excell. Not only will they eat every tick, grasshopper, worm and beetle they encounter; mosquitos, their eggs and larvae, slugs and snails are eagerly devoured by Ducks. The benefits of a natural approach to combating yard and garden pests are numerous.


Another skill Ducks possess is egg production. The eggs they lay are better for your health than Chicken eggs, and (in my opinion) much tastier. Baking with them leads to some pleasant results as well.


The amount of space required to house Ducks is minimal. Especially when compared to the needs of other fowl. That means you can fit more Ducks in your backyard, and- more importantly- have more Ducklings.
